After initial short fallow coming out of a grazing rotation all crops is sown using direct drill and GPS technology with full stubble retention.
In 2026 we have sown:
360ha of canola
190ha of faba beans
150ha of malting barley
360ha of milling wheat
60ha of lupins
Up to 2000 tonnes of grain can be stored on farm in 30 aerated silos, with the aim of marketing as much grain as possible to the end user. Marlu aims to develop a series of long term relationships with end users.
